My Morning Playlist

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a great week. This is a prewritten post because, at the point this is being posted, I should be on a coach on my way to Italy. I’m on a trip with school for the best week so this week’s and next week’s posts will be prewritten. Anyways, this week I thought I would share my morning playlist. I listen to this on shuffle while I’m getting dressed and doing my makeup for school in a morning, and sometimes just when I need to get in a good mood. These songs really set me up for the day, and I would recommend listening to them all if you haven’t heard them before.

2. One Dance – Drake

3. Not Over You – Tessa Violet

4. Absolutely Smitten – dodie

5. Shape Of You – Ed Sheeran

6. The Good, The Bad, and The Dirty – Panic! At The Disco

My Christmas Playlist

Hello everyone! How are you all? As it basically Christmas now (22 days ahh!), it’s definitely time to break out the old Christmas playlist. Some of these songs are typical Christmas songs, and there’s certainly a lot of Bublé here, but I feel like some people might think I’m a tad weird for some of my choices lol. Anyway, this is my go to playlist for December, so let’s get started!
1. Santa Tell Me – Ariana Grande
2. Winter Things – Ariana Grande
3. Santa Baby – Ariana Grande ft. Elizabeth Gillies
4. Feliz Navidad – Michael Bublé
5. Holly Jolly Christmas – Michael Bublé
6. It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas – Michael Bublé
7. All I Want for Christmas Is You – Mariah Carey
8. Hallelujah – Jeff Buckley
9. Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) – Michael Bublé
10. Do They Know It’s Christmas? – BandAid30
11. Thank God It’s Christmas – Queen
12. What’s This? – Fall Out Boy (The Nightmare Before Christmas)

Thank you for reading everyone! Leave a comment and tell me what your favourite Christmas song is!

The Music Tag

Hello everyone! This week I decided to steal this tag from TypicalTeenager67, and Surfie17, because guess who had a post planned that didn’t work? Anyways, I won’t ramble on about how useless I am at coming up with posts, and we can get started.

1. Who is your favourite band/artist?

I think I’d have to say Twenty One Pilots, or Dodie for this one. I love both of them so much, and their music has such meaningful messages.
2. Who is your favourite band/artist you always go back to?

Recently I’ve found myself listening to quite a lot of Scouting For Girls, MIKA, and McFly (#2009mems), just because who doesn’t like them?
3. What are your top 5 songs of all time?

1. Crazy Little Thing Called Love – Queen

2. Sick of Losing Soulmates – Dodie

3. Holding Onto You – Twenty One Pilots

4. This Is Gospel – Panic! At The Disco

5. Mean – Taylor Swift
4. What is the embarrassing song on your music collection?

No shame, but I have Dodie and Tessa Violet’s cover of All Star by Smashmouth downloaded for some reason?
5. What are the top 6 most played songs in your music collection?

1. How I Know – Rusty Clanton

2. Fresh Eyes – Andy Grammer

3. Sick of Losing Soulmates – Dodie

4. Starving – Hailee Steinfield

5. Lethargy – Bastille

6. Sofia – Álvera Soler
 6. What is your favourite album?

I mean, it’s going to be Intertwined by Dodie (when it comes out on November 18 #promo), but right now I’d have to say Wild World by Bastille, or Vessel by Twenty One Pilots.
7. What is your favourite album art?

I don’t know why but I really love Sia’s This Is Acting (Deluxe), and Dodie’s Intertwined (how many times have I mentioned that now?).
8. What is your favourite movie soundtrack?

Guardians of The Galaxy for sure. It’s such a good mix of old songs, and I’m pretty sure I know every word to all of them, I’ve watched it so many times.
9. What is the first concert you ever attended?

My first concert was in 2014, when I went to see Taylor Swift’s Red Tour at the O2, and it was a pretty good first concert.
10. What is the best concert you ever attended?

Probably when I went to Hyde Park in 2015, once again to see Taylor Swift, but there was lots of other artists performing too, like Vance Joy, Ellie Goulding, and John Newman.
11. What is your favourite song lyric?

At the minute, it’s a proper soppy one, but it’s “and if it’s love I’m in, much rather sink than swim” from How I Know by Rusty Clanton. My favourite lyric of all time is probably “fight it, take the pain, ignite it” from Holding Onto You by Twenty One Pilots.
12. Can you play an instrument?

I dabble in ukulele, piano, and guitar, but I wouldn’t say I’m actually any good.
13. Do you have a ‘song’ with anyone?

My friend and I always sing One Dance by Drake, but we replace the ringing sounds in the chorus with “hey miss”, for some reason that I’ve forgotten now.
14. Has your music taste changed over time?

Oh definitely. It’s steered away from pop, and gone more alternative, I’d say, but that doesn’t mean I can’t get down to some One Direction.

Thanks for reading guys! Leave a comment about what your favourite song is, and I might make a playlist of new music to listen to.

Top 5 Songs Right Now

Hello everyone!
So first post, eh? I don’t really know what I’m doing but my almost nice friend ATypicalTeenager67 has persuaded/ encouraged me to start a blog so here goes.
1. Lethargy – Bastille

This song is from Bastille’s new album, Wild World, and I’m honestly addicted to it. If I’m honest, the whole album is amazing. I’d describe it as an upbeat song, as the beat is quite quick. It’s definitely one of my favourite songs of all time.
2. Gives You Hell – All-American Rejects

Like Lethargy, this is quite an upbeat song, and it’s such a good song to listen to when you’re in one of those “I-want-to-punch-someone” moods.
3. Sofia – Álvera Soler

I went to Spain recently, and this was on the radio all the time, so I was slowly introduced to one of the most catchy, upbeat songs I’ve ever heard (just realising how I’m describing every song on this list as ‘upbeat’, but oh well). It really gets me in the mood to start dancing, even if I’m in a really bad mood.
4. Don’t You Go – All Time Low

Once again, upbeat song. It’s about a one night stand so maybe don’t listen to it around your parents? Other than that (which isn’t even a bad thing tbh), it’s a banging tune.
5. Side To Side – Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj

Do I fancy Nicki Minaj? Definitely. Do I also fancy Ariana Grande? Most certainly. I watched the VMA performance of this and honestly, I’m still in shock at how Ari managed to stay on that bike the whole time. The actual song is also bomb af. Just listen to it .
So that was my top 5 songs at the minute! I hope you enjoyed it, and if you did comment below what your favourites are. Thanks for reading guys!
