My Favourite Christmas Movies

Hello everyone! Even though I should probably be getting school work done, I’ve managed to find my self obsessing over decorations, but I’m not complaining. Today I thought I’d do a post about my favourite Christmas movies, and films I watch in December, because I know I can always use some recommendations. Anyways, let’s get started!

My favourite Christmas film of all time is definitely Elf. I mean, who doesn’t love watching it at Christmas time? I’ve watched this every Christmas since I can remember, and I’m pretty sure I can recite most of the lines. My favourite part is definitely the mailroom scene. Also, is the most lovely ending a movie has ever seen?

Hunger Games series

I know, I know: not a Christmas movie. But these films have come out at the end of every November (up until this year 😦 how sad), so I’ve always found myself watching these in the Christmas season. And what’s more heartwarming than seeing children die in a dystopian society? :/
The Mummy & The Mummy Returns

And another non-Christmas movie! I’m pretty sure these (along with the Indiana Jones series) are my favourite adventure films of all time. Not going to lie, I have the quite the crush on Brendan Fraser, and also, is Rachel Weiss not one of the most stylish people alive? Other than the amazingly attractive cast, it’s also absolutely hilarious, which is obviously a key factor in a good Christmas time film.
Nativity 1, 2, & 3

Am I obsessed with Martin Freeman? Yes. Am I also obsessed with these movies? Yes. I’ve watched them so many times in a row, I can barely distinguish what happens in each separate movie, kind of like when you binge a series of books and people say “wait did this happen in the first one or the second one?” and you just have to shrug and pretend you didn’t read 4 books in a week.

Thanks for reading this week’s post! What’s your favourite Christmas film? I hope you all have a lovely week!
