Drabbles and a new challenge

By archiearchive FCD

I have posted a couple of drabbles on my blog today. How is everyone else going?

Since I have been volunteered for the task of setting an August Challenge, I was tempted to combine photography and writing and have you post a picture (not necessarily original) and then supply the bthousand words it is supposed to be worth. But that is complicate sooooo- – - -

The August Challenge is, in this month of the heavily censored Olympics, an approximately 500 word tale of the joys of losing.

Just to be clear, are you talking about the actual joys of losing, like the upsides of it? Or was the “joy” part of that supposed to be sarcastic?

Sorry… just want to make sure I do it right. :D

Just a note to everyone on naming – so far we -by which I mean I- have “officially” noted the names in the archive by the name of the publication month; so “The Joys of Losing” will actually be noted down as the September challenge.

Having said that, I like the topic – sufficiently broad to allow freedom of movement, while not to broad as to be meaningless.

Wait, it just clicked. Sorry… I was tired last night when I posted that question. And I had just come from spending two hours in the dentist’s chair.

    My mouth hurts.
